Yes, yes and yes, get a code reader. Harbor freight has some in your price range but don't scrimp on the cheap ones. I think the 98's are OBD-II but do some research and get one with ABS capability before buying one. I know for a fact the 99's, 2K's and 2001's are OBD-II. z6qp.
